# Initial goal Lucrar project is an initiative to promote education and financial literacy in Portugal and in the world based on the technology of the blockchain and the utility of the Lucrar token. The company Cripteracia Ltd. is a limited sole proprietorship, and the name is a combination of cryptocurrency (“Crip”) plus financial literacy (“teracia”). The initiative started with a petition to be taught financial education in the public schools (in Portugal), but it didn't have enough signatures, and even if it had it would hardly be approved by the government. Therefore, the company believes that the necessary measures are not being taken to increase financial literacy and, for that reason, the company considers this goal the most important mission of the project. The development of this project started in the summer of 2021 after many ideas were discussed in the final business project of the degree in finance and accounting at the university Iscte Business School in Lisbon, Portugal. The project is intended to be officially launched on 15th April 2022. During this time the company had to redo the Lucrar token and the project several times due to Portuguese regulation. In addition to this, it was also necessary to audit the Lucrar token to be more reliable and reduce the risks associated with failures in the smart contract.
